A downloadable game

A sequel to the ill fated Lost at the MGC 2020 series (due to the cancellation of the Midwest Gaming Classic in 2020 because of COVID) a new generation of mini games have been created for the original Game Boy. Six games on six cartridges hidden around the Midwest Gaming Classic. Can you find them, or will they forever be Lost at the MGC?

A number of sets of the carts were hidden around the convention, each with a very small mini game that would reveal a website, a password, and a number that were all important to beating the game as a whole. (Then one could sit back, relax, and watch the awful credits.)

I'll be updating this page with notes, alternative art assets and game titles, as well as assets for games that were not made for this year's set.

Random Factoids:

Middle Aged Man was originally named "The Pillow of Doom."

Madness Maze was made in an attempt to get away from doing a second platformer. Originally there were going to be two games of each type: top down, first person, and platformer.

This was so much fun, my only complaint is it left me wanting more!  I wish the hints led to an additional area in a game that kept the puzzle going :D

Thank you for checking out the little game we put together! We've bigger plans for MGC 2024... let's hope we can, at least, match the little game we made for this one!

I found all the codes, I've tried them all as individual passwords to make sure they are right and they all worked... but it says "still lost" when I enter all the codes into their corresponding numbers on the second screen. WHAT AM I MISSING??

I just got the last password, and can confirm that as long as you get them in the right box it works!

The second password screen has the numbers move around and so the appropriate fields for each password changes each time. :) It is confirmed to still be functioning properly.

Are there some hints for Madness Maze?  I've figured out the first password, but stumped on the next part with 6 boxes.

You need to play the other games

Oh that's pretty cool!  I've gotten them all except the one for Forbidden, do I have to call that phone number??

The answer is yes, call the number.  It's only an automated recording, you don't have to talk to anyone for my equally socially anxious friends :)

I JUST now saw this as I noticed an uptick on the website traffic and was investigating... sorry about that! Yes, calling the number results in a robot telling you what you need to know. :)
